Bahati’s Story
I had to try The Weekly Writing Challenge hosted by wordpress and Vincent Mars.
I always enjoyed Precis Writing in school! Last week’s expedition into Masai Mara gave me the perfect theme!
“Jewel eyes gazing through the undergrowth. Blood and gore. The sharp sound of bones crunching. The impala is dead. Bahati eats again. Cameras click as we watch, listen, record. The story unfolds. Neither camera nor keyboard can tell the tale better than those jewel eyes. Life ends to go on”

It’s very hard to miss the smell! Phew! Did you know that after killing their prey, the big cats start eating from the rear quarters! Because once the stomach is opened up the smell is so strong, it attracts the scavengers!
