Hello Swati & Siddharth. You have a dynamic site. I sensed the dry heat, the wind rustling through the grassy Savannah, the myriads of birds singing…… I was raised in Sub-Saharan Africa. Beginning in Zambia, onto Zimbabwe, Malawi, Mozambique, Tanzania and finally South Africa. I have now retired in Ireland. As a young lad Game Parks never existed, the countries themselves were ‘game parks’! My heart still beats with Mother Africa and I consider myself incredibly privileged to have been born and raised there .nkosi sikelel iafrika.

Thank you for your kind words. A dream is to have Africa return to its truly wild state. Perhaps that’s being foolish – but the planet needs rejuvenation and where else but this Motherland will be a fit place to start from?
We hope you still visit this beautiful continent. Though we have barely spent a decade here, living anywhere else seems to us a difficult proposition!

Today, I went too the beach with my children. I found a sea shell and gave it to
my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put the shell to her ear and
screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear.
She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is totally off topic but I had to tell someone!

Ouch! Hopefully the little one is recovered! Please show here the wonders of the beach again. One just needs to be more respectful of Mother nature. Not fear her!
