Moon Tales – Lagos
In the early hours of 21st January 2019, the full moon was ready to set.
But the sun was ready to rise too. Exactly opposite the moon. The shadow cast by the earth fell on the moon.
And lengthened.
More.
And still more.
Until barely a sliver was visible.
The sliver shrunk some more.
Just the faintest arc was visible.
That got fainter still.
The last of the moonbeams.
Till the next day. Shadows are cast. But the light never dies.
