Big – The Words
Small and big are simple enough concepts. An ant is small. A mountain, a banyan tree, an elephant. These are big.
But big is relative! To the child, the mother is big.
To the fly, the spider is big!
But, perhaps the only real big is the universe, that infinte expanse of space and time, matter and void.
Compared to this immensity everything that we can conceive of, create or comprehend becomes, merely, miniscule. Irrelevant. Small.
I really love the way you expand the idea with relevant examples! I am so happy you took up this project! You should write more often! A pleasure to read your writing!
